For phase 1 of the development of this site, you must have a CSID to get to the site. By visiting the site, a wiki user with the same name as your CSID is created automatically.

In phase 2, we plan to announce the site to a small, select group of people who don't have CSIDs. We'll have to work out how this will work and what security will be required. We'll also have to include instructions about registering.

In phase 3, we'll announce it to a wide audience, put it in the forum-old.stanford.edu menus, and generally make it public. Again, we'll have to work out policies about who can contribute and guidelines for submissions.
